Ladies Rules of Attire

Whether in costume or not, ladies must observe the following guidelines:

This is to include, at a minimum:

• All dresses and blouses are to have modest necklines. More than a palm’s width below the collarbone in the front will not be allowed. Please consider that many gentlemen dance partners will be taller than you when evaluating necklines.

• If a lady chooses to wear a strapless, spaghetti strap or halter-top gown, she is expected to wear a small sweater, cardigan, shrug or other covering on her shoulders for the evening.

• Sheer material will be considered the same as bare skin.

• Dresses are not to be low-cut in the back, below the shoulder blades will not be allowed.

• Skirts and dresses should be no more than two inches above the ground when kneeling.

• Outfits are not to be excessively tight or form-fitting.

• Undergarments should not be exposed, even when dancing.

• Dress shoes. NO sneakers or athletic shoes.
