Ladies Rules of Attire

Whether in costume or not, ladies must observe the following guidelines:

This is to include, at a minimum:

All dresses and blouses are to have modest necklines. More than a palm’s width below the collarbone in the front will not be allowed. Please consider that many gentlemen dance partners will be taller than you when evaluating necklines.

If a lady chooses to wear a strapless, spaghetti strap or halter-top gown, she is expected to wear a small sweater, cardigan, shrug or other covering on her shoulders for the evening.

Sheer material will be considered the same as bare skin.

Dresses are not to be low-cut in the back, below the shoulder blades will not be allowed.

Skirts and dresses should be no more than two inches above the ground when kneeling.

Outfits are not to be excessively tight or form-fitting.

Undergarments should not be exposed, even when dancing.

Dress shoes. NO sneakers or athletic shoes.
